This is not a “corporate” website, so this isn’t the usual legal mumbo jumbo privacy policy. I respect your privacy and hate spammers, junk-email, and all that other shit.
Here’s the stuff I keep logs on and why I do it
- E-mail addresses submitted using the “Share The Pickle” e-mail form.
This is done for a number of reasons. Seeing which page is being shared with friends the most gives me a pretty good indication as to the type of stuff you guys like. I also plan to eventually do some prize giveaways and use the list of people sharing the pickle as the entry pool. Plus, I’m just a nosy little fucker. hehe… The e-mails in this database will never be shared with anyone! And, they will never be spammed by me.
- IP addresses of the visitors of this site
This is done mostly for security reasons. If I notice that I’m getting slammed by a hacker attack or something, I can try and track down the little fucker. Otherwise, this info is just good to see where all the visitors of BP live. If I notice a ton of traffic from a country whose primary language isn’t English, my nerdy ass might decide to make another version of the site in that countries primary language.

If you send me an e-mail I reserve the right to publish it anywhere I want with your name, e-mail address, etc if I so choose. The reason I reserve such a right is to publicly bash anybody who I feel deserves it.
