Adult Dating Websites

In this little article, I explain how some dating websites are fucking people over.

The “Adult Dating” area; to your right, is a spoof on how tons of websites market mainstream and adult dating sites. The hot little blond in the pictures that rotate is Naughty Allie. She; and her husband Jake, runs what is in my overly-porn-educated opinion one of the best porn sites on the internet. On with the Good, Bad, and Ugly of Internet Dating Websites…

The deceptive marketing practices and outright scamming done by some adult dating websites and/or their affiliates makes me fucking sick. Seriously, the shit is out of control and some of these sites need to go the way of the dinosaurs. As a webmaster; with a couple ounces of common sense, I’m afforded a fairly unique perspective on this issue. By sharing this information, I hope to actually help you find someone to date, play hide the pickle with, or both.

First off, not all dating sites are the same. Not by a long shot. This little rant of mine is in no way meant to be a definitive guide to such sites. I’m just throwing all dating websites into three basic ethical categories. There are many, many, many variations of these three generalizations of mine though.

Some companies/people run 100% legit dating sites without any of the bullshit I’m about to explain. Some sites are a mix of bullshit and legit. And, then there are the “dating sites” that are complete and utter bullshit. This last group of fuck-tards are doing nothing more than selling a big pile of steaming shit and passing it off as chocolate. And, here’s how they do it…

Bogus Member Information In Marketing Materials

Tons of websites have little dating site promo areas with pictures of smoking hot chicks. And, underneath each picture is some text that usually reads something like this: “HornyKaren - 19/F - Your-City, Your-State, Your-Country”. The “Your-City, Your-State, Your-Country” text is automatically generated to match whatever city, state, and country you live in based on your IP address. The truth or lack-thereof in these promos vary greatly depending on the adult dating website being promoted and the website promoting them.

How The Good Guys Do It
Their promos generally have photos of real members in their database, but openly state that the text information is strictly for illustrative purposes. I can live with this. Marketing is marketing. And, if you have to throw someone’s location in their face to grab their attention so be it. As long as you let them know that the information is strictly for illustrative purposes it’s all good. In fact, I couldn’t care less if the chicks are even real members of the dating website - as long as they let you know.

How The Semi-Bad Guys Do It
Same as the good guys usually, but they don’t let you know that the text accompanying the photos is Bullshit. At least the photos are of real members though. They just don’t live in your hood.

How The Bottom-feeding Fuck-tards Do It
The lowest of the low “Adult Dating Websites” don’t have that many real female members to begin with, so the photos shown are generally one of two things. 1. Pictures of regular chicks that they jacked from legitimate dating sites and/or other sources to build their database of fake member profiles. Or 2. Pictures of chicks stolen from porn sites. That’s why I thought it’d be funny to use pictures of Naughty Allie in my little promo spoof. :-)

This is where my life as a webmaster really lets me see this shit for what it is.

Problems Legitimate Adult Dating Sites Have With Bottom-feeders
No matter how hard a dating site tries to prevent/police it, they are going to have some fake profiles in their system. These profiles are created by two different types of scumbags:

1. Scumbag affiliates of other websites. These guys are famous for making fake profiles on tons of websites. They use these profiles / fake identities to try and get people to sign-up for other websites or buy something. This really sucks and fucks things up for a lot of people. The site they create the fake profile on looks a little bad for letting these fuckers slip by their profile screening process. The website/product the scumbags are promoting looks like shit because people think that the site being promoted condones such marketing. Lastly, you as the consumer get pissed off because you generally don’t know what the fuck is going on.

2. Scam artists. This is actually a bit more widespread than most people realize, even people in the dating biz. Those Nigerian Scammers and other dumb-dicks are not only spamming via e-mail, their setting up shop on dating websites and other community oriented places online.

*If at anytime you suspect that a profile is fake or someone is trying to scam your ass on a dating site, you should report the offending profile to the site it’s on immediately. As long as you’re a member of a legit site, they’ll look into the profile and remove it from their site if you’re correct in your suspicions.

How The Steaming Pile Of Shit Dating Websites Use Fake Profiles
It never ceases to amaze me that dick-heads will launch a dating site that’s prefilled with several thousand fake profiles and think nothing of it. I’ve even seen people on webmaster message boards asking if anyone has a “Database of Fake Dating Profiles” for sale. Some people do this with the thought process of: “I’ll just use some fake profiles to get things started because no-one will join my site if there aren’t any current members. Once I lure-in enough real people with the fake profiles I’ll erase the fake ones”. And, the extra super-duper shit-heads do this with the thought process of: “After I get all these fake profiles on there, I’ll hire a team of idiots who are scum-bags like me to make these profiles appear to be real. I’ll have them send and reply to messages from real members and everything. I sure hope Hell isn’t real”.

It’s so obvious that this is the case with some dating websites that it is downright ridiculous. I’ve been in the affiliate area of such sites and some of them don’t even offer promo materials to get women to join their site. Think about that for half a second. If they don’t have promo materials that would entice a female to join their website, how in the hell do they have so many female members? Simply put, they don’t. They are full of shit and bigger scumbags than the Nigerian Scammers I mentioned earlier.

I could go on and on about this, but you get the picture. Not all dating websites are bad, but there are some real scumbags in the industry. There are tons of different little things the scumbags do to deceive people. I’ve only lightly touched on a few things to clue you in on the elephant in the room.

Adult Dating Websites That I Personally Recommend

There are many different types of online dating services available for adults. They all pretty much fall under three basic categories though: 1. The ones that you join because you are looking for someone you’d introduce to your Mom. 2. The websites that you join because you’re looking to get laid. And lastly, there are some that do a pretty decent job of blending those first two types together.

This area was filled with a recommendation for another adult dating website. I did some basic homework on the site and took the word of someone that it was on the up and up. Well, it’s not. Sorry about that previous recommendation of mine.
